Care that fits your needs
Referrals
No referral is need to access occupational therapy at Chapters. Get in touch with us directly - whether you’re a parent, carer or support coordinator, you can request an appointment at any time. We’re here to help guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way.
Assessments
Assessments are an essential part of what we do - they help identify where challenges stem from and form the foundation for setting goals and building therapy plans tailored to your child.
Within an initial meeting, we will conduct an initial information gathering assessment over the phone, telehealth or a 1:1 with the child’s parent or caregiver. This will ensure that occupational therapy goals are person centred and based on your child’s strengths, challenges and their unique needs.
At Chapters we provide:
01
Initial assessments
02
Sensory assessments
03
Handwriting assessments
04
School/kinder-based assessments
05
Developmental/motor assessments
06
Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs)
07
Equipment and assistive technology assessment and support
08
Review assessments (ongoing support for existing clients)
Our occupational therapy services
Our services support autistic children, ADHD individuals, and children with executive functioning challenges, sensory processing challenges, development delays, mental health challenges, learning difficulties, genetic and neurological conditions, emotional regulation and behaviour needs, coordination and motor skill delays, difficulties engaging in self care and day-to-day life skills, as well as challenges with social and play skills.
